And now for a moment of 2nd Amendment Zen

An Inglis-built Bren Mk I, the version that had the dial-sight bracket on the receiver. Which, in service was almost never used, as the Bren couldn’t compete with the Vickers as an indirect fire weapon. Discontinued on the later marks of the Bren for a savings in weight, materiel, cost, and most important, manufacturing time.
